「here is 〜」は「ここに〜があります」という意味を表します。これは現在形の「be動詞」である「is」と場所を表す副詞「here」を組み合わせた形で構成されています。

「here is」は、物や人、場所などが現在、ここに存在することを示します。

例えば、「Here is a book for you.」という文章は「あなたのための本がここにあります」という意味になります。

単数の場合:

• Here is a pen that you left behind.
• Here is a map that will show you the way.

また、「here is~」は~の部分が単数の場合と複数の場合で「is」と「are」を使い分けます。

複数の場合:

• Here are the keys that you asked for.
• Here are the papers that you need to sign.

「here is」は肯定文、疑問文、否定文のいずれの形でも使うことができます。

肯定文:

• Here is the shirt that you wanted.

疑問文:
